A Joshua Tree Weekend Getaway with Ayurganic
A few weekends ago, I took a quick getaway to Joshua Tree for the first time since I moved to Southern California three years ago. It was nothing short of magical, and the desert heat forced me to slow down and to just be. With the recent launch of my podcast, Green Dreamer, I had been trying to do as much as possible in as little time as possible that I had overlooked how much I needed some time to just appreciate the present. Though the summer slump has been discouraging, I'm starting to see this slowdown as exactly what I need to refresh. It's all about perspective, right?

Particularly, what has been encouraging me to enjoy being mindful of the present has been working with Ayurganic's robe.
Ayurganic is a conscious apparel brand created under the supervision of Ayurvedic Scientists in India. I didn't know it was possible to feel such tranquility through clothing. Beyond not having toxic chemicals in the fabric, the brand went above and beyond to infusing health-promoting herbs and oils into the fabric. That was the first time I'd heard of this concept. When I put the robe on, I feel like I'm transported to another world of calm and mindfulness, inspiring within me a sense of belonging - that I'm right where I need to be.
